It’s been awhile…

Missing In Action!!! Wow, it’s been a year I didn’t show up in my blog. After I have a look on my blog, I found that the response from 2 previous topic seems good.

Frankly, I really feel glad that my readers do find my guide useful to them. :)

As everyone know, Google has provided a lot of online tools, program or whatever that to make our life easier. And here is another amazing project by Google.comGoogle Spreadsheets Google Spreadsheets.

I doubt you guys should know what is spreadsheet, a simple example is something like Microsoft Excel, Lotus 123, OpenOffice.org Cal or etc. Click the definition link here if you want to know more about spreadsheet.

Google always provide something that related to the Web. Because spreadsheet application is widely used over the world and now Google come to create an online spreadsheet that allow us to create, store or even share the spreadseets on the web and it is accessible and editable over the Internet. You can create a new spreadsheets in Malaysia and allow your buddies to edit the same spreadsheets at Tokyo at the same time. Its what the meaning of the slogan “anytime, anywhere“. Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 is Out

Mozilla has released their popular open source web browser, Firefox 1.5 Beta 1, a test version of its new web browser.

Firefox 1.5 Beta 1, codenamed “Deer Park” is the first beta release of next generation web browser of Mozilla.

Below are the new features of Firefox 1.5:

  • drag-and-drop reordering of browser tabs.
  • faster back and forward navigation.
  • “Automated Update” has been added to streamline product upgrades.
  • Popup blocking and security issues have been improved.
  • Broader support for Web Standards: CSS2 and CSS3, SVG, JavaScript 1.6
  • support for scalable vector graphics

If you would like to try it out, Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 is now available for download from Mozilla website.

Mozilla warned that the beta is “not the final release of the Web browser, and has been made available for testing purposes only, with no end-user support.”

Please bear in mind that Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 is not final release. Thus, do not expect any end-user support from Mozilla. The next beta version of Firefox 1.5 is scheduled on early October while the final released is targeted on end of year.




Skype in German Mobile Operator

i believe many of us know the existence of Skype here. Skype is program that allow user to calls over the internet to anyone else who also has Skype by using VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) technology. And it is “FREE”.

Now Skype bring it’s benefit to mobile phone user as well. Skype just signed its first agreement with one of the mobile operator from German, “E-Plus” which has 9.8 million subscribers now. Next month Skype will deliver its flat-rate services to E-plus and it said that Skype will offer its services on devices such as Motorola.

Skype’s chief executive, Niklas Zennstorm, said the deal brings the “value and convenience” of Skype’s global internet communications experience to millions of mobile phone subscribers. E-Plus said Skype enables its to deliver the advantages of mobile and stationary internet access.
