World Largest Monopoly Board

Posted on Wednesday 11 January 2006 on 11:53 pm

Hmm..I would be a bit late to post this news, i think someone would already post this 2 weeks ago. Anyway, i would like to share with you guys about the LARGEST Monopoly Board that i ever seen. May be should borrow Ripley’s slogan: “BELIEVE IT OR NOT?” :P.

On 30 December 05, I went to 1Utama Shopping Mall to met my friends. I just walk around here and there… then ahead to the centre court and I found that, wow, this is what I saw from newspaper yesterday - “The World Largest Monopoly Board“. Actually i had already forgotten Largest Monopoly Board is located in 1Utama Shopping Mall. It was very impressing and I have taken some photo via my mobile.

The more interesting I would say is the Jail. It really have a CAGE and few prisoner suits. There were many kids went into the jail and wear the prisoner suits for photo. Nokia & Hasbro were the one who presenting this event. If you were around, you will see the Staff holding latest N-series and other latest phone. They were giving away free photo taken by their phone. I was interested to have that but it seems mostly were kids went for the photo. So… i just hold my step.

I will post all monopoly photo that I have. If you see carefully, you may estimate how big is the LARGEST MONOPOLY board by comparing the cage with the people.

Largest Toy Museum

Posted on Friday 4 November 2005 on 4:47 am

Guys, I would like to say I am ashamed of being Penang guy here (although i was not born in penang) . It is because…

On monday, I was driving to Batu Feringgi to have a walk by the seaside with my friend. Along the road, we noticed a signboard of “TOY MUSEUM” around Tanjung Bungah area and i felt “Toy Museum” sound very familiar. Oh ya, i remembered i saw the name “Toy Museum” somewhere in KL last year, perhaps in SUMMIT if im not mistaken. I guess they are the same.

Toy Museum

Frankly, it is a great place to visit for tourist and any other else. For those Toy Enthusiasts like me, you MUST pay a visit to such Toy Museum. It collects over 100,000 toys, dolls, models and other fun collectibles, etc. Yet, it is the World Largest Toy Museum and the toys were collected since 1973 by Mr. Loh while he was 19. The musuem is about 650s q m floor area. The most expensive toys, which cost RM9000 is a 1.8m tall Gundam Robot from Japan. This Toy Museum not only holds the earlier toys but also display the upcoming or latest toys or figures such as Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride” which is showing in Cinema now. Toys of Charlie & Chococlate’s Factory, Batman Begin and etc.

Victor & Corpse Bride

With over 100,000 toys, dolls, models and other fun collectibles, it’s a haven for toy and movie aficionados. “It’s also the largest in the world and the first such museum in Asia” says proud owner Loh Lean Cheng of his baby.

The entrance fee for adult is RM10 and RM6 for children. It is a reasonable price and worth for seeing over 100,000 toys in such special museum. Don’t you think a Toy Museum is rarely found among the world and furthermore it is the largest. Hence, i hope you guys don’t miss this especially Penang guys. hehehe

Ninjai - The Little Ninja

Posted on Tuesday 6 September 2005 on 2:05 am

Well, i planned put some interesting stuff in my site so that the site not that tedious. Okay, let’s introduce Ninjai - The Little Ninja now, an online action or adventure series animation.

Ninjai - The Little Ninja

Ninjai web site’s layout is very nice. I get to know Ninjai 2 years ago when i was studying my Advance Diploma course. I did not surf to Ninjai’s site quite a long time and i was about to surf their site now.

After i read their interview conversation, their members are basically a group of young stuntmen by day and animators, musicians and artists by night. And they are not all based in one location but are located all over the world. If wanna know more about the creators, do read their Interview Conversation.
