Mike:
Very sorry that I still have no clue about this motherboard. As there was someone (Ragna) asking me bout this question as well. Unfortunately I have no idea bout whether such PSP can be downgraded.

I know it has been asked before, and this probably isn't a good place to ask, but if one's PSP Motherboard has IC1003 on it, but also has another number on the opposite side, what does it mean? Mine says IC1003 and IC6001, so what version do I have? Or is there any program out there that has been developed that will let you find out without bricking your PSP?

I would take a picture, but the IC6001 is hard to see and I am not skilled enough to open my PSP without destroying it.
